What color shirt and tie to match a champagne dress?

Well i just found out my dates dress color to our homecoming dance is going to be champagne.. Now i apologize for my idiocy, but i have no idea for what color shirt and tie i should wear to kind of match. I was going to go for a white shirt, and a pinkish tie, but i’m still looking for other options. Any ideas?
