Is it true that even a genius can forget to tie a shoe, trip, and break his neck?

MrM and supposedly he only had one set of clothes, all the same suit, so he wouldn’t have to waste time thinking about what to wear. Interesting man, that.

Completely plausible. When Bill Gates was younger, he would often forget to shower and show up to business meetings looking not so fresh. His mind was too preoccupied with other things.

It could be not only true but more likely..
a genius does not necessarily have a lot of common sense and sometimes are intensely insane to boot.

    Yes.
I believe geniuses are actually more accident prone – it’s the whole book smart vs. common sense (street) smart thing.

Absenth seems to have made genius’ fk up, I’m not sure you have to forget to tie your shoe to "trip" I’m a genius & I like shrooms

    Yes, it’s true.

I’d say it was even more likely. Geniuses are usually savants and savants can focus on one thing with near superhuman clarity…while ignoring all else.

Case in Point: Einstein–He really would forget to comb, cut and wash his hair.

I would like to ask ‘An Honest Man’ that question. He is a contact of mine, and at one time he called himself, ‘Darn Near Perfect Genius!’ And he is indeed a Genius; I’ve read his excellent poetry, math & chemistry answers. So he would be the perfect candidate to ask :) I venture to think he would answer in the affirmative.

Yup…… thats why I prefer slip-ons…..Most genius types I have met over the years had no common sense. So I can absolutely see a genius falling and breaking his/her neck. :~D
